First it was the turn of Rochelle Humes.   The Saturdays singer delivered her and husband Marvin Humes’ first child early on Monday morning and the proud dad has revealed the couple are “overjoyed” with their new arrival, who they have named Alaia-Mai Humes.

Marvin wrote on Twitter: “This morning we welcomed our baby girl Alaia-Mai Humes. Mum is doing great & baby is amazing! We are both overjoyed! Thanks for your love x (sic)”

Secondly it was the turn of Radio One DJ Annie Mac.  Irish born Annie and boyfriend Toddla T had a “very special delivery” at 11.12am on Monday morning and were delighted to announce that their first baby was a beautiful baby boy.

And thirdly it was the turn of Coleen Rooney who gave birth to a second baby boy at 2.11am this morning, weighing 7lb 11.5oz.  Klay Anthony Rooney’s birth was announced by Coleen on her Twitter feed.

The Manchester United striker also announced the birth on Twitter, writing that “both Klay and Coleen are fine and we’re all delighted”.

Congratulations to them all and what happy ‘tripple’ news.

But as you would expect, these were no ordinary baby shower invitations bought from the shop, but in fact put inside music boxes!  They arrived at their intended destinations and when opened, played Kanye’s tune, “Hey Mama,” the tribute track he wrote for his own mother. The tune played as a wind-up ballerina twirled.

So if the invitations are anything to go by, the baby shower is going to be a somewhat lavish affair as they plan to go all out!!

Today Amy and Katie are healthy twin girls, but there was a time when Mum Maria Jones-Elliot wasn’t sure if either of her twin daughters would make it.

“The doctors told me there was very little hope of them surviving as they were so premature,” she told newspapers when her water broke at just 23 weeks into the pregnancy.

Despite the odds, Amy was born on June 1, 2012. Four months premature and weighed a little more than a pound.  ”Amy was fighting for her life in an incubator and Katie was struggling to survive in my womb,” Mum Maria told The Mirror.  Doctors induced Mum Maria a second time on August 27th which was during her 36th week of pregnancy. After about an hour, second twin Katie emerged.

“For a baby born at 23 weeks to survive is a huge achievement from everyone’s point of view,” Dr. Sam Coulter Smith, chief of Dublin’s Rotunda Hospital and an expert in obstetrics and gynecology, told the Irish Times. “For a 23-week twin to survive is even bigger because twins often behave more prematurely than singleton babies. That really is right at the absolute border of viability.”

So this could be a new world record as the current record holder is Peggy Lynn from Huntingdon.  She reportedly gave birth to daughter Hanna and son Eric 84 days apart between 1995 and 1996.

But Peaches Geldof who is 24, recently had a HUGE stroke of luck when she gave birth to her second  child, wait for it,  Phaedra Bloom Forever on 24 April which is the birthday of her late mother Paula Yates.

On the coincidence, she told Hello! magazine: “It wasn’t an option. Maybe it is if you go private, but we didn’t and were given the date randomly by a consultant.

“I was pretty amazed when I read it though, and had to smile. I couldn’t help feeling mum must have had a hand in it.”

Peaches, who married musician Tom Cohen, 22, last year, is also mother to son Astala who was originally due to be born on 24 April too.

However, the date was brought forward when it was decided Peaches should have a Caesarean Section.

She said: “It’s like mum was very determined that one of her grandsons would be born on her birthday.

“There’s this kind of crazy synchronicity to it.”

The birthday of her son is a fitting tribute to Peaches’ mother who was found dead at her home in London on 17 September 2000, the birthday of Peaches’ sister Pixie.

She told her followers: “Some big news from me today! Wayne and I are having a baby. We are both SO happy and can’t wait for his or hers arrival!”

It comes less than a month after Frankie and Wayne, 32, who is currently on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion, revealed that they are to be married.

Replying to her band mate’s news , Una Healy tweeted: “So happy and excited for our Frankie and Wayne’s baby news!!”

The news is sure to spark speculation about the future of the girl band now three of the group will be mums.

Una, 31, was the first member of the pop group to become pregnant, and she gave birth to a little girl, Aoife, last year.

While Rochelle Humes, 23, is also currently expecting with her husband, JLS star Marvin.

Wonder if she has started thinking about her baby shower yet?

Exercise is very important, but being aware of what you should NOT do is even MORE important.

Here are 4 Exercises that should be avoided during pregnancy.

1. Avoid deep knee bends (and be careful with squats!) – Because the body loosens up SO much during pregnancy, any bending past 90-degrees while holding heavy weights is not recommended!

Why not try ball squats, but only do them if you feel OK (STOP if you feel any discomfort in your knees!).

2. Avoid lifting over your head (i.e. standard military press) – Because a lot of women hold their breath when they lift overhead (possibly causing them to feel dizzy and pass out), be cautious of this exercise.

Also, because of the increased lordotic (lower back) curve associated with pregnancy, overhead exercises can place even more stress to the lower lumbar area, causing lower back strain. If you’re committed to lifting overhead – an inclined position may feel better and take the pressure off your lower back.

3. Avoid any “Weight-Bearing” exercises that require you to bend from your waist and compress your abdominals (i.e. deadlifts) – This can cause dizziness and puts pressure on your lumbar spine.

4. Avoid extreme stretching or bouncy movements – Your flexibility has increased greatly, which CAN and does lead to overstretching (painful!) if you’re not careful.

Although Yoga is recommended – overstretching is something to watch out for! Listen to YOUR body, not what the teacher says or someone else in the class is doing.

But don’t let RULES hold you back!

It’s important to be cautious but DON’T let all these “RULES” keep you from exercising. Exercise WILL help you both during your pregnancy and beyond (including post-baby WEIGHT LOSS!).

Discomfort – Change nappy, check if he is too hot or cold, make sure clothing and nappy are comfortable and not too tight.

Hunger - Sounds obvious, but give him some milk

Irritation – Remove the source of irritation, such as excessive light or sound.

Stomach Cramps - Burp the baby or put him on his back and move his legs as if he’s cycling.

Loneliness & Boredom – Physical contact should help.  Baby Massage has many benefits too.

Fatigue/Exhaustion – Relax the baby: feed him, bathe him, talk to him, rock him.

Illness – Consult your midwife or doctor if you notice anything out of the ordinary.  Otherwise a cuddle usually helps.

One in ten babies is outfitted with a capacity for excessive crying.  If your baby cries for at least three hours a day, three days a week, for three weeks or more, ask your paediatrician what can be done.

Chantel Pinchon, 20, was thrilled when she gave birth to her 3 baby girls  Rose, Lexi and Ruby just two minutes apart.

She and fiancé Lewis Reddie, 24, now have FOUR babies under one — the triplet girls and their son Michael who is only nine months old.

Shop worker Chantel said: “It was a huge shock, especially as the pregnancy wasn’t planned.

“But I feel so lucky now they’re all here and healthy. We keep getting asked if it was through IVF, but it wasn’t.”  it all happened so naturally.

Chantal gave birth by Caesarean section at Great Western Hospital, Swindon, Wilts.

First came Rose weighing 4lb 2oz, followed by Lexi at 2lb 13oz and Ruby at 4lb 1oz.  Because they were born seven weeks premature they are being looked after in a special care unit until they are well enough to go home.

Army reservist Lewis said: “You really can’t tell them apart, although Lexi seems to fidget the most.”

The couple will need to buy a huge 6,000 nappies in the next year which led Lewis to say:  “I’ll be doing my fair share of the changing.”  Looks like Chantal and Lewis are going to be somewhat busy for the next few years and certainly will have their hands full when they all go home!

Stacey Solomon bounced back to her slim figure within weeks of giving birth to her second child, Leighton.

There are several select groups of people that are more at risk for developing iron deficiencies. First, women are more likely to develop this problem, partly because of the loss of red blood cells during menstruation. Also, pregnant women need to be sure to consume enough iron.

Other foods that are rich in iron include sardines, tuna, liver, broccoli, asparagus, pumpkin, lamb and egg yolks.  So as you can see it’s not just your greens!!
