Now that Mariah Carey is a mother, we’ve probably never seen her look better than ever before. The chart topper reveals her post-pregnancy weight loss to Shape Magazine, including her tips on how she shed 70 pounds after she gave birth to her twins last April, Morrocan and Monroe.

Carey also talks about her difficult pregnancy and even goes as far as using the “f� word. She says:
“Pregnancy was probably the best and the hardest thing I’ll ever go through. I know for a lot of women, it can be wonderful and relatively easy. But for me, it was like ‘Okay, honey, do you have to do everything the hard way?’�

“Everyone said I was fat, so I did something about it. I put on around 70 lbs., but if you look at photos of me when I was pregnant, you’d say, ‘Wow, she gained 9,000 pounds!’ A lot of it was water weight because I pretty much had head-to-toe edema, which is very painful.�

New Mum Hilary Duff is splitting the parenting with Mike Comrie, but there’s one aspect of tending to their son Luca Cruz that she has to handle herself.

“He’s really hands-on during the day,� the actress and singer, 24, who is the new spokesperson for Johnson’s Baby Cares initiative, tells PEOPLE of her husband.

“But at night, I’m the only one that can feed the baby. I wasn’t going to make him suffer just because I was having to get up.�

Though she leaves pumped milk for Comrie and her mother, who watches the baby while she takes a Pilates or spin class, Duff enjoys the time she spends nursing her 4-week-old son.

“It’s such a wonderful bonding time,� says Duff. “Just to have your baby thrive and knowing that you’re doing that and you’re responsible — it’s such a rewarding feeling.�

That same sense of responsibility since she entered into the world of motherhood motivated Duff to partner with Johnson’s Baby Cares for their Save the Children campaign, which will assemble, donate and distribute 5,000 Johnson’s Baby Care Kits that will provide families with baby care essentials immediately, during and after disasters.

“I’m involved in many different charities, but just becoming a new mom and when I heard about Johnson’s doing this, I was really inspired,� she explains.

“It’s such a great thing to have these kits be prepared for these new moms [so they are able] to take care of their babies. That’s all that’s been on my mind. The second that you have your baby, you’re like, ‘Okay, I’m 100 percent responsible for this.’�

At this point in Luca’s life, Duff says the relatively monotonous daily routine is broken up by frequent milestones.

“The day is exciting if he makes a new face or he gets to take a real bath instead of a sponge bath,� she shares.

“You know what was a big milestone? The belly button falling off. That was a huge one. And then I wanted to keep it but my husband was like, ‘No, that’s gross, you can’t keep it!’ I’m like, ‘I’m totally keeping it,’ and I secretly kept it.�

Duff adds, laughing, “But now it’s not a secret anymore. It’s in a Ziploc bag in the back of my makeup drawer. Luca’s going to think I’m a freak!�

Going green is a serious thing for Jessica Alba. Since becoming a mother of two, it has become a way of life for the actress.

And in an effort to give other parents easy access to a similar eco-friendly lifestyle, Alba recently launched The Honest Company, a monthly subscription service of baby products.

“I love all of the products — the shampoo/body wash is truly tearless without any numbing agent, the detangler actually detangles and smells delicious, and the diapers are the best disposables on the market!� she tells GILT’s Little Inspiration blog.

But just as she hopes to help families lead healthier lives — Alba has plans to expand the line to include feeding products, clothing, and bedding and décor — she is also ensuring her daughters Honor Marie, 3½, and Haven Garner, 8 months, understand the importance of all-natural, too.

“I seek out organic foods, and as a family we try to have a balanced diet that focuses on vegetables, lean protein, and whole grains,� she explains.

“I make sure to read the ingredients carefully and try to give Haven homemade, puréed food as much as possible.�

However, between her acting career, her new company, and her family of four, Alba admits sometimes finding that fine balance is anything but easy. But, at the end of the day, it’s all about her daughters.

“I just live my life the best I can and I compromise on one thing or another. I often wish there were at least two of me and 36 hours in the day!� she says.

“My children’s happiness is my priority, so as long as they’re good everything else just sort of works out. I have lots of lists, schedules, and labels to keep some sanity and organization.�

So what’s her secret to looking fabulous despite her hectic schedule? “I have a really quick, but effective make-up routine: great concealer, cream blush, and mascara,� she reveals. “It takes 10 minutes and it looks like I’ve had a good night sleep.�

Kelly Brook has described her miscarriage as “the hardest lesson” after losing the baby she was expecting with rugby player Thom Evans last May.

The 32-year-old model said she had “changed her life dramatically” since losing the baby girl when she was five months pregnant.

She told Top Sante magazine: “My miscarriage was a hard lesson. Before I fell pregnant, I’d been living the life of a 22-year-old – going to clubs, working hard and flying to a different country every two weeks. When I first fell pregnant, I still thought I could run around and do whatever I wanted, but my body let me know that wasn’t the case. When I miscarried, I was devastated.

“It was the hardest lesson but, ultimately, a good one. I’d been running on adrenalin believing I was invincible – like so many of us do. Since the miscarriage, I’ve changed my life dramatically.

“I’ve reduced my workload and I’m eating more healthily and exercising more. I don’t want to leave it much longer before having children and if I was to fall pregnant now, I’d feel ready.”

West End stars Ray Quinn and Emma Stephens have got married, they had a beach wedding in Barbados and announced they are expecting their first baby.

Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson, 30, had a cuddle with her 2-year-old son David on the set of a Weight Watcher’s advert in Los Angeles, Calif. on Sunday.

The singer/actress recently said baby David inspired her dramatic weight loss. “Motherhood brought tremendous responsibilities — but none greater than the obligation I felt to get healthy and be there for my son,” Jennifer said. “David deserved to have a mum who could run after him without getting winded or getting tired, to have a role model who could teach him to make healthy food choices. I needed him to grow up with a mum who always would be there for him by caring enough about herself to take control of her health and her eating.”

Football star David Beckham and wife Victoria Beckham were spotted taking their three sons Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 9, and 7-year-old Cruz to the Los Angeles Kings vs. Vancouver Canucks NHL playoff game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif. on Sunday (April 15).

The family – who were missing the newest member of the Beckham bunch, baby Harper – really enjoyed their family time together. Little Cruz cuddled with his mum as his big brothers hung closer to dad.

Saturdays star’s baby choke scare!

Una Healy of the all-girl group The Saturdays has told of when her new-born baby girl started to choke.
Healy said: “I was screaming. It was the worst moment of my life. There’s this precious little person who you would die for and you just can’t bear to think of anything happening to her.”
Healy and England rugby player Ben Foden had their daughter Aoife Belle Foden on March 13 and Healy is loving every minute motherhood.
“During the night, I’ll wake up, even when she’s sound asleep, and sneak a peek. She’ll be lying there, with her tiny hands up by her face – she’s so ladylike – and my heart could burst with love for her.”
He said: “We went into panic and pushed the emergency button and the next thing we knew, our baby was whisked away and there were alarm bells ringing and staff running around.”
Foden said that doctors took control and helped the youngster as soon as they were alerted to the choking.
Thankfully, baby Aoife Belle has now recovered.
